Leaving the car parked on the edge of the beach, we walked across the beach towards the island. It was about 500 metres. I was still grumbling, since the beach seemed firm enough for zooming about in the car.There are two graveyards marked on the map, a modern one (to our right at the edge of the island , and an ancient site on the other side of the island. The house in the picture is at the entrance to the island, with a healthy garden full of new potatoes visible in the foreground.
